Development Map

The master plan

We want to create a thriving new community in Coventry. Our plans for Cherrywood Gardens are in line with the approved outline planning permission granted by Coventry City Council.
The development will provide a mix of  2, 3, & 4 bedroom high quality homes, 40% of which will be affordable housing, with each home having a dedicated parking space and garden. The site includes greenspaces around the perimeter of the site as well as green open spaces within the development. As a popular area located in Coventry, schools and local amenities will be a short distance from the development.

Homes proposed

Our proposal for private housing include 2, 3, and 4 bedroom homes.

The majority of the houses will be two storey, with a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties to provide new homes for a variety of people.

The appearance of the new homes will be reflective of the local area, materials will be used to not only complement but enhance the area of Coventry. The homes will incorporate a variety of brick colours, render, weatherboarding and roof tiles. Chimney’s have also been included on certain key properties on the site.

About our proposal features

Economic benefits

We want to deliver new homes and facilities that positively integrate with and enhance the local community.

Green open spaces

A large area of public open space will be provided on the development, primarily adjacent to the eastern boundaries. There is also Holbrooks Park which sits along the back of the development..

Community beneifts features

History of the site

Prior to the development, the site previously was a Meggitt Aerospace factory. The site is located behind the Taylor Wimpey previous development ‘Cherrywood Place’, a site completed back at the start of 2017. Our proposed development will be very similar with the units on the eastern boundary of the site backing onto a similar Meggitt commercial unit. The site lies adjacent to the local park to the north and current Meggitt sports ground to the south and is accessed via Swallow Road leading from Beake Avenue.

Connectivity

Before we start designing a new scheme, we complete an assessment of the site and surrounding area as they are now. We record those features that will need to be considered in our design approach.

The main access point to Cherrywood Gardens will be provided by Beake Ave.
