The majority of the houses will be two storey, with a mix of detached, semi-detached and terraced properties to provide new homes for a variety of people.
The appearance of the new homes will be reflective of the local area, materials will be used to not only complement but enhance the area of Coventry. The homes will incorporate a variety of brick colours, render, weatherboarding and roof tiles. Chimney’s have also been included on certain key properties on the site.

History of the site
Prior to the development, the site previously was a Meggitt Aerospace factory. The site is located behind the Taylor Wimpey previous development ‘Cherrywood Place’, a site completed back at the start of 2017. Our proposed development will be very similar with the units on the eastern boundary of the site backing onto a similar Meggitt commercial unit. The site lies adjacent to the local park to the north and current Meggitt sports ground to the south and is accessed via Swallow Road leading from Beake Avenue.
Connectivity
Before we start designing a new scheme, we complete an assessment of the site and surrounding area as they are now. We record those features that will need to be considered in our design approach.
The main access point to Cherrywood Gardens will be provided by Beake Ave.
A home is more than just a house, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. And that’s why we invest in building communities that support local businesses, improve facilities in the area and help bring people together.
We will support Coventry by contributing to the local communities, we have supported local communities across the country with the following:
We're committed to building greener, healthier homes for us all. From energy efficient fixtures and fittings, to cutting our carbon emissions and enhancing existing green spaces, we build sustainability into everything we do.
