We donate 500 to Fairfield Primary School
Our donation went towards purchasing football goals and posts for the school field, representing just one of the many ways we are actively engaging with the local community surrounding our Hartburn Grange development.
Our contribution was made specifically to enhance the school's playground activities and recreational facilities. The new equipment will provide students with additional opportunities for exercise and team-building activities during break times and after-school hours.
Rob Birtwhistle, Head Teacher at Fairfield Primary School, said: “I’m certain many of our pupils will benefit from Taylor Wimpey's kind donation, which we are very grateful for. Watching the children stay active by playing outside together with the new football goals alongside building new friendships is really wonderful.”
Nicki Hope, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: "We are delighted to be able to support Fairfield Primary School by expanding their play area with more options for the children. We're not just about building quality homes, we really care about giving back to the communities where we build. It means the world to us knowing our donation will help these kids learn and grow together while promoting healthy, active lifestyles."
We held an Easter egg colouring competition
We recently held an Easter colouring competition which encouraged children to showcase their creativity and have fun during the Easter holidays.
Three-year-old Lyla won the competition with her winning design, earning a range of prizes including an Easter egg, additional crafts and a teddy bear. The competition was part of our ongoing commitment to engaging with the local community.
Nicki Hope, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: "At Taylor Wimpey, we really love to get involved with the local community, and this Easter colouring competition really got young minds thinking creatively and helped them feel a part of the community here. Congratulations to Lyla, we hope she enjoyed her prizes."
We help Stockton-on-Tees school stay safe during Road Safety Week
We donated a colourful collection of clip-on lights to Holy Trinity Rosehill Church of England School as part of Road Safety Week.
The lights, which can be fastened onto bags or bikes, were donated by the homebuilder to help students be seen by drivers when out and about in the local community and when travelling to and from school.
Nicki Hope, Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire, said: “We’re proud to donate these much needed clip-on lights to Holy Trinity Rosehill Church of England School as we know they’ll help children stay safe during outdoor activities, and when travelling to and from school. We understand that local schools can benefit from our help, and we’re always willing to provide equipment to help create a safer community.”
