Start a new life just outside of historic Warwick, where the High Street boasts quaint boutiques and coffee shops inside stunning Tudor and 17th-century architecture. Enjoy idyllic countryside walks peppered with picturesque hamlets and welcoming pubs, while the nearby M40 (voted the nation’s favourite motorway) ensures seamless connections when you need to travel further afield. Taylor Wimpey new build is the perfect home for Warwick family needing more space
After outgrowing their first home, Scott and Katie knew it was time to find a larger, more family-friendly space.
With previous experience purchasing and living in a new build home, Scott and Katie were confident they wanted to do it again. With two small children in tow, it was also key for them to avoid any large scale refurbishments, as well as being able to move in and enjoy the property straight away as a family.
After beginning their search, they found Taylor Wimpey’s The Asps and liked its location. Scott said: “The development has great access links to the M40 as well as Leamington and Warwick. It is also on the outskirts of town, so it feels more peaceful and has less congestion than some other areas nearby. Once the development is complete, it will have some great community amenities alongside nice green spaces and parks so we know it’s going to be a fantastic place to live.”
When searching for their home on the development, the couple fell in love with the Trusdale Special, a spacious three-bedroom corner plot featuring a large rear garden, a garage, and three parking spaces. Katie said: “The layout was perfect for us. The kitchen/diner has beautiful views over the green space, and the front bedrooms overlook the fields beyond. The natural light throughout the home makes it feel so open and airy.”
Practical features also played a big role in their decision. Scott added: “With two little ones, the utility room has been a lifesaver and the overall size of the property has allowed us to thrive as a family of four.”
Now settled in, the family is enjoying everything their new home and development have to offer. “The estate is peaceful, and with spring approaching, we’re looking forward to lots of walks around the green spaces and watching the sunsets from the front of our home,” Katie said.
The couple was also impressed with the level of customer care they received. “Any minor snags have been dealt with immediately by the team, especially the sales team. We felt really supported throughout the entire journey. We’re so happy with our decision. The home, the development, and the customer service from Taylor Wimpey have all been excellent. We’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality new-build home.”

Family finds their dream home at The Asps
They quickly realised a new-build home was the ideal solution. “We wanted something modern, within a warranty period, and built to high standards,” said Praveen.Drawn to The Asps development, Manu said: “It’s peaceful, with stunning views.”
The family chose the Huxford, a four-bedroom detached house. “The layout was perfect,” Praveen explained. “It gave us the space we needed, with room for guests, a large garden for the dogs, and a garage. The bedrooms all being on the same floor is so convenient with a young child.”
Manu’s favourite features include the Amtico flooring: “With two dogs, it’s easy to clean, and it looks beautiful. The insulation and zonal heating system also keep the house warm in winter, helping us save on energy bills.”
The family enjoys spending time in the home’s bright, airy lounge and open-plan kitchen: “The lounge is spacious—we spend a lot of time together. The kitchen is great for helping our daughter develop a positive relationship with food, and the open space encourages family interaction.”
Manu also appreciates the peaceful surroundings: “There’s lots of open space, and we love the fresh air and quiet. It’s a lovely contrast to our previous location, and we’re really enjoying the tranquillity.”

We have supported Warwick District Foodbank for the fourth year running, donating 124.5kg of food as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the communities surrounding our Warwick developments. The foodbank aims to combat food poverty for people in crisis in Warwick, Leamington Spa and Kenilworth by providing three days' worth of nutritious emergency food to those referred to them.

Miriam Bowen, Warehouse Manager and Session Leader at Warwick District Foodbank, said: “We are very grateful to Taylor Wimpey Midlands for their ongoing support. This time of year often sees our supplies run low, and September is especially busy as the families we support face back-to-school costs on top of already stretched budgets. We rely on and appreciate the support of local businesses and Taylor Wimpey Midlands always delivers at our most critical times. A big thank you to everyone who contributed.”
Matthew Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “We are delighted to have supported Warwick District Foodbank again this year. We help to transform garden for local family
We were proud to support a special project to create a safe and accessible outdoor space for Liam, a young man with severe autism, at his home in Warwick. With Liam recently finishing college and set to spend more time at home, it became clear that he needed a space where he could enjoy the outdoors independently. Warwick Rotary Club Rotarian and architect, Laurie Day, came up with the idea to create a summerhouse, giving Liam a peaceful retreat within his own home. To make this possible, the entire garden needed to be upgraded.
Volunteers from Warwick Racecourse, Jaguar Land Rover and JP Property Services came together to upgrade the garden with new astroturf and paving, as well as installing Liam’s summerhouse which the club bought.
We were pleased to contribute towards the cost of the new paving. Kilrot funded the laying of the astroturf and Linleigh Electricals connected power to the summerhouse. All of these contributions showed a real community effort, which delighted the family.
Matthew Kendall, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Midlands, said: “At Taylor Wimpey, we’re committed to supporting the communities where we build, and it’s been a privilege to contribute to such a meaningful project. It’s been inspiring to see so many local organisations come together to support the O’Sullivan family, and we hope they enjoy their new garden space for many years to come.”

The sponsorship is part of our commitment to supporting local communities near our new homes developments in Nuneaton at Bramcote Grange and in Leamington Spa at The Asps.
Graham Nash, Head Coach at Leamington Spa Swim Club, said: “Taylor Wimpey’s sponsorship made it possible for our team to look professional while attending an incredible swim camp in Spain. It was a fantastic life experience for the children, and both the team and the wider club are truly thankful for the company’s support.”
