    For Michael Nelson and his partner, Sarah Oldfield, moving out of a rented flat in Chesterfield was their first step on the property ladder.

    With space and the sea air high on the couple’s wish list, they found Taylor Wimpey’s Crofton Grange development, in Blyth, ticked all the boxes.

    Michael says: “It was actually my dad who first mentioned Taylor Wimpey to us. His colleague’s son had just bought a house here when we first started our hunt. He was really praising the quality of the homes, and so we just had to come and have a look.


    “When we came to view the Fairfield 4 bedroom detached show home it was love at first sight! We were so impressed with the house and the staff. As we were walking around, I bumped into a couple of guys I went to school with, which is lovely - we’ve joked that our street name should be ‘Memory Lane’ and that it’s like having a mini school reunion every time we step out our front doors.”
