Helping you move

Westland Heath Part Exchange scheme
If you’re keen to get going with your move but don’t have the time or energy to sell your old property, Part Exchange might be the answer.
To find out if your old property qualifies for Part Exchange, speak to one of the Sales Executives responsible for the development you’d like to move to. You can book an appointment online. Let them know where your current home is and approximately how much it’s worth (your existing property should be no more than 70% of the value of the new Taylor Wimpey home you want to buy). If it qualifies, you can go ahead and provisionally reserve your new home there and then. For more information and for full terms and conditions, click this link

“It was such a rewarding experience to join the children as they picked out their own books, and it’s moments like this that truly highlight the power of reading. We're proud to continue supporting local communities and promoting education, and we hope this donation sparks a lasting love of reading for the next generation of learners.”

Buying with Easymover
Couple buy dream house together with Easymover
Dan (45), a self-employed Coach, Trainer and Facilitator, and his husband, Daniel (35), a Hair Colourist and Hairdresser, have taken the next step in their relationship in buying a home together after Daniel moved to the UK from Canada.
A peace of mind
The couple moved into their new home from Dan’s 12-year-old town-house in Beswick. When asked why Dan wanted to purchase a new build again, he said: “New build homes come with the NHBC warranty as well as being more energy efficient. They are also move-in ready, so there is less ongoing maintenance.”
The couple purchased their home using our Easymover scheme, which allows homebuyers to reserve their new home while we help to manage the sale of their old one. We’ll use our expert marketing and negotiation skills to sell the previous home quickly and will also handle estate agents and help to cover the estate agent fees*.
Dan said “Easymover made it so much easier knowing that we didn’t need to be under offer before going to Taylor Wimpey and reserving our home and that they would take care of everything. This took so much stress out of the buying process. We also appreciated the savings involved regarding the estate agent’s fees and contributions towards stamp duty. It allowed us to spend a little more on some lovely upgrades for our new home.”

We lend a hand and donate to Storehouse Foodbank
We have donated £500 and its staff have helped to volunteer at Storehouse Foodbank to help provide food to low income families in the Sudbury area.
The foodbank runs as part of the Stour Valley Vineyard Church and provides emergency food bags to local families and individuals in crisis. They do this through a referral system, partnering with a growing number of agencies in Sudbury and the surrounding areas, to provide simple food supplies, toiletries, household cleaners and even nappies.
Storehouse works with a variety of agencies, such as CAB, NHS, GP, Temp/Emergency Housing, Police, Family Centres, Mental Health/AA etc.
The £500 donation will go towards funding the group's emergency food parcels and help to provide further help and resources to those in need. Further to this, a group of staff visited the foodbank on the 5th of March to help with the collection and assembly of food and hygiene parcels, general cleaning, and day-to-day administration. The volunteering by our staff helped the foodbank to spread and pack their resources, ready to go as needed.
Michael O’Leary, Regional Operations and Sales Director at Taylor Wimpey London, said: “We’re proud to give back to the communities in which we build, and supporting local initiatives like Storehouse Foodbank is a key part of that commitment. The work they do is not only invaluable to the area but also essential in helping residents stay safe and connected to the resources available to them.
“Our team had an incredibly rewarding experience volunteering, it is vital in strengthening connections, fostering a sense of responsibility, and ensuring we are contributing to a positive and sustainable future. We hope that our efforts, both through financial support and volunteering, will help make a tangible difference in Sudbury, providing vital assistance to those who need it most."
Ryan Legg from Storehouse Foodbank says: “Thank you so much to Taylor Wimpey for their incredibly generous donation to our cause. The support will allow us to keep moving forward with the important work we do.
Additionally, we had the pleasure of hosting an amazing group of individuals who visited us. Their passion to help and their dedication to completing the tasks we assigned made a tremendous impact on our team and our efforts. A heartfelt thank you once again to each of them for their hard work — they were an outstanding group, and we are grateful to have had them represent Taylor Wimpey.”
