After renting in London for more than a decade, married couple Alex and Frankie were ready to put down roots in their first home together. Alex told us: “We felt that it was the right time to find somewhere that matched both our lifestyle and our values for long-term living.”

Alex and Frankie made the move into the spacious three-bedroom Eynsford, which has the perfect mix of sociable and private spaces, to suit the couple's lifestyle. “The Eynsford stood out because it just worked for how we live day-to-day. 

“The layout feels balanced and easy to live in. We spend most of our time in the open-plan kitchen and living space. It’s the perfect place to cook, unwind and catch up at the end of the day. It naturally brings everything together without feeling forced and a bonus is that it looks over the garden too. 

“The garden is one thing we’re extremely excited about! It’s our first garden and we can’t wait to get working on it in the next few months.”

When asked about their first impressions of Salden Place East, Alex and Frankie were drawn to Taylor Wimpey’s energy efficiency and environmental credentials, and they knew it was something that was important for their first step on the property ladder. Frankie said: “Having both lived in more built-up areas, especially London, we were looking for somewhere with more green space and a stronger connection to nature. Salden Place East is really thoughtfully planned with a real focus on biodiversity and sustainability, especially with the wildlife-friendly touches."
“We wanted to have something warm and future-proof, and Taylor Wimpey has all of that. Solar panels, heat pumps and triple glazing were a big factor for us as we wanted to reduce our environmental impact in a meaningful way. The days of cold London flats were over for us!” 
Purchasing their first home was a big jump for the married couple, but they felt their first buying process with Taylor Wimpey was smooth and straightforward. Alex told us: “This was huge for us but the process felt calm and well supported throughout.

“Everything was explained clearly and we always knew what stage we were at, as Jay and Jenny from the sales team were especially helpful. They were always approachable, quick to respond and made what could have been stressful feel very straightforward.”

Now settled into their Eynsford at Salden Place East, Alex and Frankie are already enjoying their new community in Newton Longville. Frankie said: “It feels peaceful and grounded compared to where we have lived before, especially coming from London. The balance of modern living with green surroundings is exactly what we were hoping for. 

“Newton Longville has been a lovely surprise for us. It has a real village feel with a strong sense of community, and it is somewhere that already feels welcoming. It’s been refreshing to have that contrast of peaceful village life close by while still being connected to Milton Keynes and everything we need!”
