Couple find their first family home in Darlington

After living separately for a year, Matthew and Lauren are delighted to have found their very first home at Berrymead Gardens in Darlington.

Matthew explains: “I was previously living in my first home and Lauren was living with her parents. We really wanted to move in together, so we started house hunting in the Darlington area. We viewed several sites by various housing developers, however, Taylor Wimpey really stood out to us due to their build quality, room sizes, and the spacious layout of the development.”

Opting for the four-bedroom Kingham, Matthew said: “We really needed to upsize as I started to work from home more and needed a home office, and we needed something with a little extra space for when we decide to start a family. We were really impressed with the room sizes, they’re so spacious compared to other homes we viewed. ”

"After seeing the show home at Berrymead Gardens, we instantly fell in love with the excellent quality and impressive finish. The show home wasn't the only thing that drew us in though, we loved the area of the development, there's lots of green open spaces for us to walk our dog, and we adore the view of the field from the back of our home."

Feeling right at home, the couple praised the Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire team who made their home buying journey seamless and stress-free, Matthew said: "The sales representative Jen, was incredible! She went above and beyond and made the process effortless. Once we moved in, the site manager Sean and customer care manager Carol were amazing and on-hand to answer any queries - we can't thank them enough."

Matthew and Lauren are loving life in their new home, the couple said: "Berrymead Gardens has a lovely, welcoming atmosphere and we believe we've found our first perfect home. Our dog, Skye, also loves it here too, she's obsessed with the cows and the sheep in the field behind us!"
