Couple upgrade their home for a fresh start 

Alix and Andrew Caster are proud homeowners at our Spring Wood Gardens development in Normanby. They share their firsthand experience of purchasing a Taylor Wimpey home after deciding to upgrade their current property and surroundings for a fresh start.

Alix explains their journey: “Mine and Andrew’s previous home was in Normanby, it was our first home together and we’d lived there for 10 years. We loved our home, but we were ready for the next stage of our lives and we felt that something new was needed. This led us to a new home at Spring Wood Gardens.”

Spring Wood Gardens is situated in the countryside, perfect for laid-back living in beautiful surroundings. Alix said: “Although our new home isn’t far from where we previously lived, it felt completely different. Just a five minute walk from our new home is a pathway that leads to plenty of scenic woodland walks where we can stroll and take in the charming landscapes.” 

Andrew adds: “As we haven’t moved far, we’re still familiar with the area which is ideal for us. The development is still so close to everything, from local shops to pubs, offering the ultimate convenience.”

Alix and Andrew opted for the four-bedroom Manford because of the flexible living options it allowed for.

 The couple can’t thank the Taylor Wimpey North Yorkshire team enough, Alix said: “We found the process with Taylor Wimpey very easy, we were well informed and never felt any pressure. The sales team were great during our journey, they guided us during every step and we really appreciated their patience during a stressful time when the house move was on hold and potentially not going to happen due to our jobs.”
