With a firm idea of what she was searching for, Faye discovered the Bronze Park development in Kents Hill. Faye said: “I viewed the property and site numerous times before committing. Every time, it felt peaceful, welcoming, and so visually appealing. I also liked the fact that there will be a shop at the development, which will give my daughter some independence as she gets older and give me peace of mind that she’s safe within the development!”
The mother and daughter duo selected a Brinklow apartment, a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property. Faye said: “The feel is very spacious, everyone comments on how lovely the entrance hallway is as soon as they enter. I love the high-quality specification, from the radiators to the kitchen cupboards and the large windows, it has a very light but cosy feel.
“I picked this specific apartment for the view, and on our second night, we watched the lights from the MK Bowl light up the sky.”
Faye and Maicie are now happily moved in and enjoying their new space and surroundings. Faye added: “It's been the best fresh start that I needed in a city that I still do not know very well. The few neighbours we have met so far have been very welcoming.”
Faye also credits the Taylor Wimpey team for helping her and her daughter with their move during an exciting, but busy, period of change in their life. “It was pleasantly smooth and quick. Taylor Wimpey also added 5% to my deposit, which was so helpful. The sales team recommended solicitors to me, I picked one local to Milton Keynes, which turned out to be a blessing, with moving things along quickly and getting all the physical signing done without relying on the post.
“The sales team, including Debbie, Jo, and Marie, were amazing and patient. I was navigating a change, and saw the development and apartments numerous times before committing. They were never once pushy and made me feel so welcome when trying to get my head around it all.”
