Finding the perfect forever home
After living in a four-bedroom detached property in Ramsbottom, Desmond (70) and Beverley (67) decided to join the Riven Stones community in Blackburn. Desmond told us: “We decided to move to Riven Stones from our previous home in Ramsbottom so that we could be closer to our family.”
Riven Stones is ideally located close to the village of Feniscowles, giving residents the perfect balance of semi-rural living.
When asked why the couple chose to buy with Taylor Wimpey, Beverley told us: “We have previously bought from Taylor Wimpey and had a great experience. As we are both retired, we knew we didn’t want to carry out any home renovations, which is why we decided to move into a new build."
Desmond and Beverley made the move into the spacious four-bedroom Trusdale. With a practical ground floor layout, an en suite attached to the main bedroom, and a stunning living room complete with French doors to the garden, the Trusdale has space for all of the family. Beverley told us: "We are loving life in our new home. The brightness of our home is no inviting, and we love our Trusdale house. Our favourite part of the home includes our private walled garden and turned staircase."
