    From the North 

    Exit the M54 Junction 2 and head south on the A449 (Stafford Road) towards Wolverhampton. Upon entering Wolverhampton, turn right at the ring road junction onto the A4150 (Ring Road St. Peters). Continue along this road, taking the second exit at the roundabout and then taking the 4th exit onto the A449 (Penn Road) at the following roundabout. Follow the A449 for around 6 miles, taking the first exit at the roundabout at Wall Heath, and then taking the right hand turn onto the B4175 (Stallings Lane) heading towards Gornal Wood. Continue along this road until you reach the development.

    From the South 

    Exit the M5 at Junction 2 and take the A4123 (Wolverhampton Road) towards Dudley. Continue on the A4123 and then turn left onto the A461 (Birmingham Road) at the junction, then take the first exit at the roundabout onto the A461 (Dudley Southern By-Pass). Continue along this road taking the second exit at the next two roundabouts continuing on the A461. At the following roundabout take the second exit onto the A4101 (Kingswinford Road) heading towards Pensnett. Continue along this road into Pensnett, and then take the right hand turn onto Tansey Green Road where the development can be found.

    DOWNSIZER TERESA FINDS THE PERFECT APARTMENT AT TAYLOR WIMPEY’S DOULTON BROOK!

    When Teresa Walsh decided to downsize from her five-bedroom home, she knew that moving to a beautiful new apartment at Taylor Wimpey’s Doulton Brook development in Wollaston, Stourbridge, would be ideal! 

    After growing tired of maintaining her 1930s property in the local area, she eagerly moved into a stunning two-bedroom apartment at the sought-after development in March.

    Teresa is enjoying the lifestyle opportunities available to residents at Doulton Brook – one of whom includes her 27-year-old daughter Tara, who lives three blocks away in another apartment!

    Teresa says: “I wanted an easier life that would be free from constantly taking care of repairs and fixing up an older property.

    “I’d heard about Taylor Wimpey’s great reputation for high-quality homes, so making the decision to move into a new apartment at Doulton Brook was simple!”

    It’s the first time that Teresa (57), a self-employed Energy Consultant, has lived in a brand new property – and it was the luxurious quality of the apartments at the development which captured her heart immediately.

    “Taylor Wimpey has put a lot of work in to making my new home look beautiful with all of the interior Options I’ve chosen,” she says. “From the flooring to the kitchen, everything is brand new – I love it!”

    Teresa had initially been apprehensive about taking on the task of moving to a new home – however the Taylor Wimpey team at the Sales and Marketing Suite reassured her and provided plenty of support throughout the moving process.

    “Moving from a five-bedroom house to a new two-bedroom apartment has been stress-free thanks to Taylor Wimpey,” Teresa explains, “Everyone from the team has been incredible throughout the big move – they’ve been very attentive and accommodating.”

    She continues: “Sarah, the Customer Relations Manager, took great care in showing me all the appliances and how they worked when we went through the interior Options range, while Emma and Linda, the Sales Executives, were always very helpful, knowledgeable and reliable.

    “Shaun and John, the Site Managers, have been amazing throughout the moving process. They can’t do enough to help!

    “Everyone has kept me updated throughout each step and have made everything so easy – even now I’ve settled in,  they still pop over to check everything is working well and to see how I am!”

    Teresa also loves having her daughter living close by. “She absolutely adores her apartment too,” Teresa explains. “We both love how Doulton Brook has a beautiful rural atmosphere where you can look at the stunning view of the canal from the apartments, while still being within easy reach of Wollaston centre – which is only a short walk away.”

    Since settling into her new home, Teresa has been embraced into the heart of a burgeoning community of new homeowners at the development.

    She says: “There’s a lovely community spirit here. My neighbours are very friendly and we like to get together for meals out.

    “I’m always nipping over to have coffee with the Taylor Wimpey Sales Executives too – they’re just as much a part of the Doulton Brook community as my neighbours.

    “You just can’t beat the atmosphere and environment here – I wish I’d moved sooner!”

    New Taylor Wimpey homes bring £185,000 investment to Dudley Borough.

    As part of the major new homes development in Kingswinford, Taylor Wimpey West Midlands are investing more than £185,000 in local community facilities. 

    Taylor Wimpey’s Himley View is delivering high-quality homes plus a host of amenities to the community – including financial contributions for the local area totalling £186,295.

    The money being pledged by Taylor Wimpey in association with the development includes nearly £100,000 for local transport infrastructure improvements, £25,000 for highway improvements and more than £60,000 towards library facilities in the area.
