A cleaner and greener community
This fantastic initiative brought the community together in a collective effort to maintain a clean and litter-free environment.
The competition saw groups of up to four people compete to collect the most litter across Lighthorne. Jessica Roberts was crowned as the winner, receiving Drayton Manor Resort tickets to recognise her efforts to create a cleaner and greener community.
Emma Hills, Community Champion for the Upper Lighthorne consortium, said: ‘The Lighthorne Heath Litter Pick Competition was a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together and take pride in our surroundings. We demonstrate our commitment to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for everyone in the community.’
