Taylor Wimpey has now received Full Planning Approval for 157 family homes..
The site is located to the south of Dinnington centre & is just over 4 miles from the M1. The site is former agricultural land but now has the benefit of a Housing Allocation H81 by Rotherham Council.
The site is an extension to an existing estate which forms part of a Housing Allocation H81 by Rotherham MBC. The site has a single vehicular access off Wentworth Way & is proposing circa 159 dwellings consisting of a mixture of 2 to 4 bedroom types.

25% of the proposed dwelling will be affordable housing including starter homes in accordance with Rotherham MBC’s policy.
The development will provide affordable housing with starter homes & potential upgrade to the adjacent recreation land. The development will also generate a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) which will benefit key local facilities including schools in the area.

The planning application is due to be submitted in early May’19.
June 2019 - Planning Application submitted.
November 2019 - The application was approved at planning committee subject to a section 106 agreement.
July 2020 – Full planning approval received for 157 dwellings.
