Downsizing couple join the community at our Burdon Fields development

Darren and Edwina Kibble, longtime residents of the Doxford Park area, embarked on a journey to find their perfect home after realising that their spacious family house was no longer needed. Their heart was set on staying in the area they loved so much, which led them to our Burdon Fields development, a decision they are thrilled to have made.

Downsizing to dream home

"After living in Doxford Park for many years, we decided it was time to downsize. We explored several options but couldn't find anything that truly resonated with us," shared Darren. "We wanted to stay in the area our family grew up in, and every day, those Taylor Wimpey signs piqued our curiosity about the new development."

Their initial encounter with the development's offerings began with visits to show homes in Blyth and Kenton Bank Foot, where they had the pleasure of meeting our expert sales team. "The sales executives, especially Amanda, were wonderful. They took the time to explain everything, showed us plans, and walked us through all the procedures involved," said the couple. "Being among the first to reserve a home on the development, we had the privilege of choosing the perfect plot for the Flatford-style home we had set our hearts on."

Commenting on their experience at Burdon Fields so far, "We couldn't be happier with our choice," Darren affirmed. “The buying process was made exceptionally easy, thanks to the sales team, who diligently kept us informed every step of the way,” the couple added.

For anyone contemplating a newly built home at our Burdon Fields development, Darren and Edwina wholeheartedly recommend it. "The people are lovely, and the workmen are exceptional. It's a fantastic community, and we couldn't ask for anything better." It's evident that for Darren and Edwina, we have not just provided a new home, but a place where they feel truly at home.
