Family find dream home at Bingham Gate

More space for family life

Previously living in another area of Bingham, the Deakin family decided to move to accommodate their growing needs. 

Megan said: “We really loved living in the market town of Bingham and our eldest son was very happy in his school, so we wanted to stay in the area. With a growing family, we needed a bit more space for the boys and all their toys.”

When the family began their search for a new home, Bingham Gate caught their attention. “We explored various properties, both older homes and new builds, but our Taylor Wimpey home stood out. It provided the space we needed within our budget and required minimal work. We loved that the house was like a blank canvas too, allowing us to choose certain options to make it our own.”

Their new home, the four bedroom Marford, has proven to be an ideal fit for the family. Megan said: “Downstairs, we turned a small room at the front into a playroom for the boys, giving them their own space to play and keep their toys. The kitchen and dining room are wonderfully roomy, perfect for family meals and get-togethers.

The decision to opt for a new build was influenced by the convenience and personalisation options it offered. Megan explains: "We chose a new build because it allowed us to move straight in without needing to do lots of work. Being able to personally select how our kitchen and utility room would look upon us moving in was a bonus.”
 
 Additionally, the family benefited from a Taylor Wimpey incentive, providing them with financial flexibility and allowing for desirable upgrades. Megan explained: "We were fortunate to receive a sizeable Taylor Wimpey incentive, which meant our money went a little bit further. This also allowed us to get some upgrades, like bathroom fittings, as part of the sale, which was great.”

Now settled into their new home, the Deakin family is making the most of the development's prime location and amenities. Megan concludes: "We really like that we are within easy walking distance of the town centre, the school, and the play park. It’s so convenient for our family to be able to walk everywhere instead of having to drive."
