Family join the friendly community at Wellington Place

Holly, her partner Ben and their daughter Darcy have found their perfect family home at our Wellington Place development in Market Harborough

Picturesque location

The couple’s decision to move stemmed from their love for the popular market town. Having both attended school in Market Harborough, Holly and Ben wanted the same friendly community and excellent schooling for their daughter. Holly said: “It’s a lovely town and has a lovely community; ever since Darcy was born we always knew we would make the move there.”

Wellington Place caught their eye for its picturesque setting and convenient location. Holly said: “The development is beautiful and offers so much on your doorstep. You get to walk out your front door to the fields and cows, then take a bike ride down the canal path and then a short walk into the town centre. It is honestly perfect for us.”

The perfect family home

Holly and Ben opted for the four bedroom Marford, impressed by its layout and spacious design. Holly said: “The Marford is honestly breathtaking. As you enter the front door you have the impressive open plan kitchen-diner which stretches from the front to the back of the house. There’s a separate lounge that is super cosy and the perfect place to unwind. One of the main reasons we chose the Marford is that it has an extra downstairs room which we have made into our daughter’s playroom.” 

 
“The Marford is such a perfect family home and its layout is incredible. Our utility/WC is a great room in our house; we call it our ‘lootility’, it’s a combination of a downstairs toilet with a sink and washing machine in it. Our guests love it too!”

The couple’s decision to go for a new build was driven by their desire to personalise the space without the hassle of extensive renovations. Holly said: “We decided to go with a new build as we wanted to personalise the house to our own style rather than buying a property and changing so many rooms. We love the modern countryside look so we choose cream and beige tones, which is just perfect for a calm and relaxing atmosphere.”

The process of purchasing their dream home with Taylor Wimpey was nothing short of smooth sailing. From selecting their plot to receiving the keys, Holly was impressed with the whole experience. Holly said: “Kate and Yvette at Wellington Place were amazing, they helped us with everything. Any little query we had they answered and resolved straight away for us. The whole process was how I wished for it to be and couldn’t thank the sales team and builders on site enough.”
