Having relocated from the bustling streets of London in early October 2023, Annie said: "We wanted a quieter life for our retirement and this area is perfect for that. Choosing a new build home was not a difficult decision, good insulation and energy efficiency was paramount for us.”

When asked why they decided to buy a Taylor Wimpey home, Annie said. "We were drawn to the idyllic setting and the charming village close to The Heath. We really like the layout of the development plus the fact that our house faces the countryside was the real attraction.”

When thinking about the local area, Annie said: “We really enjoy the easy access to village amenities and the vibrant community life that has enriched our retirement. There are a lot of activities including the excellent Women's Institute and a local history society which, given the long history of the village and the surrounding area, is a great resource for learning about our new location.”

Opting for The Redfern house type, Annie said: "The spacious layout, coupled with a generous garden, captivated us instantly. The bay windows facing the countryside are perfect to sit with a coffee or a sundowner. We are also currently developing the garden into a space which welcomes and encourages wildlife.”

The Heath has a selection of two, three, four and five bedroom homes, perfect for young professionals, couples and families alike. Each home has energy efficiency features and the development is located within walking distance of the local village Codicote.
