We help couple purchase their very first home together in Micklefield

A couple who were previously living in Pontefract have now found freedom settling down into their first property together at our Hornbeam Gardens development in Micklefield.

Buying first home

Mathew Lush and his partner Lucy Nunn moved to Hornbeam Gardens after previously renting together in Pontefract. The couple realised they were spending too much money on rent and decided to make the move to Leeds and purchase the two-bedroom Ashenford housetype.

 

The couple of three-and-a-half years were keen to find a new-build property after previously renting together for a year-and-a-half and therefore wanting a property nobody else had lived in.

Mathew said: “I’d been previously renting for seven years and after a while it became really expensive to maintain. We were losing so much money on rent and it was getting ridiculous and that's when we decided we needed to have a place of our own.

 

“It’s a bonus to know that because it’s a new build property, no one else has lived here before. We are so in love with our home and very pleased that we decided to go ahead with the two-bed Ashenford housetype. I’d say it’s definitely the perfect sized property for a first-time-buyer and we cannot thank Taylor Wimpey for helping us find our beautiful home.”
