There are many schools and educational establishments throughout Louth for children of all ages. For primary education, the Lacey Gardens Junior School and St Michael's Church of England Primary School – which were both rated ‘good’ in their latest Ofsted reports – are just a short distance from St James View.

Louth is well-served for secondary-level education with King Edward VI Grammar School and Monks' Dyke Tennyson College, while for further education there is Cordeaux School.

When travelling from Louth, the A16 – one of the principal roads of Lincolnshire – runs less than a mile adjacent to the town, offering convenient connections north towards Grimsby as well as south for Peterborough.

For railway links, the coastal town of Cleethorpes, which is located just over 16 miles away, offers regular direct access to Manchester Airport and Barton-on-Humber from Cleethorpes station.

Meet the new Site Manager at St James’ View

    Site Manager - Mark Wardrobe

The team at St James’ View work together to make sure every aspect of the home-buying purchase - from laying the first brick to handing over the keys - is as smooth as it can possibly be. It is vital that each member of the team is experienced in their field and Taylor Wimpey East Midlands newest recruit is no exception. Read on to find out more about Mark Wardrobe, Site Manager of St James’ View.

Mark started as an assistant in the building industry in 2000 working his way up to be a Site Manager now at Taylor Wimpey East Midlands. Mark has been working in the industry for over 15 years having worked for competitor brands before joining Taylor Wimpey in April 2018.

Discussing his new role, Mark explained: “I start my day by chairing our team meeting to ensure the site team are aware of their daily tasks and any unusual activities that are being carried out on the day, such as cranes in operation. I would then carry out my routine site inspections to then return to the office to determine what materials are needed for plots that are to due commence work within the coming months. I also meet regularly with the Sales Executive at the development to discuss any customers optional extras in plots. As well as this, I like to offer ‘meet the builder’ sessions to customers that have reserved plots so they can ask me any questions about their new home - it’s a really great way to be able to meet our customers and show them how proud we are of the homes we build."

When it comes to buying at St James View, Mark said: “It really has never been a better time to buy a new home at St James’ View - we have a variety of homes on offer to suit the needs of growing families, young couples and people that are looking to downsize. The development is nestled in a relaxing community environment and is on the doorstep of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds.”

If you're visiting St James View, look out for Mark making sure everything is running smoothly.
