    Follow A146 towards Beccles and continue on Norwich Road. Leave at the third exit onto George Westwood Way/A145 then proceed onto A12. When you reach the signpost for the B1121, turn left onto Rendham Road/B1119. Heritage Gate is on the right-hand side.

    From Ipswich:

    Take Valley Road/A1214, Tuddenham Road and Main Road to the A12. Proceed straight ahead through one roundabout. Turn right at the signpost for the B1121 Saxmundham. The new development is a short distance on the right-hand side of Rendham Road/B1119.

    About Heritage Gate

    Saxmundham is identified as a Town within the Adopted Core Strategy and has a variety of facilities available to residents – including school, sports facilities and a town centre with a variety of uses. It is also well connected to neighbouring towns and villages, both from the A12 adjacent to the site and public transport links, providing bus and rail services to Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and London. Overall, the site is considered to be a highly sustainable location.

    Our scheme will provide a high level of design which respects and complements the existing pattern of development within Saxmundham. It has been designed to ensure that the amenities of existing residents are protected through adequate back to back distances, with noise from the A12 screened from occupiers of the site by an earth bund and acoustic fencing.

    Affordable housing will be provided on-site in line with policy, and other infrastructure contributions will also be made.
