Local investment
A home is more than just a house, it’s also about the community that surrounds it. And that’s why we invest in building communities that support local businesses, improve facilities in the area and help bring people together.
Supporting the community
We donate £1,500 to Include Me 2 Club and both celebrate local awards
We have made a further donation of £1,500 to Include Me 2 Club in Barrhead, continuing our long‑term commitment to supporting the charity through our per‑plot donation initiative.
The pledge agrees we will contribute £25 for every new home sold and legally completed at its Duncarnock, Springhill Gardens and Arthurlie Gate developments in Barrhead. This latest donation brings the total contributed to Include Me 2 Club to £5,700, helping fund its vital work with children, young people, and adults with additional support needs, taking us well over half of our overall pledge to donate £9,725 as each of our three local developments are completed.
This donation comes as we celebrate winning National Business of the Year at the local All About Barrhead Awards earlier in the year, an achievement made even more meaningful thanks to Include Me 2 Club’s nomination and ongoing support. Include Me 2 Club also received recognition of its own, being honoured as runner-up in the All About Barrhead Star Award for its outstanding contribution to the community.
Paul McIlvenny, co-founder of Include Me 2 Club, said: “We’re incredibly grateful for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s continued support. Their donations enable us to deliver inclusive projects that make a real difference across Barrhead. We were proud to nominate them for an All About Barrhead Award and delighted to see them recognised for the positive impact they’re having as their developments progress.”
Elizabeth Robertson, Customer Director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added:
“We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Include Me 2 Club and to make another per-plot donation. Their dedication to creating inclusive opportunities for local people is inspiring, and we’re honoured to have been nominated by them for an All About Barrhead Award. We’re equally delighted to see them recognised with runner-up in the coveted Star Award for the incredible work they do in the local community.”

We made a further donation of £1,400 to Include Me 2 Club in Barrhead, continuing our long-term commitment to supporting the charity through our per plot donation initiative.
The donation is part of a pledge to contribute £25 for every new home sold and legally completed at its Duncarnock and Arthurlie Gate developments in Barrhead. This latest contribution brings the total donated to the charity to £4,500, helping fund its vital work with children, young people, and adults with additional support needs.
Paul McIlvenny, co-founder of Include Me 2 Club, said: "We’re incredibly grateful for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s continued support. We’re thrilled to see this partnership grow as the developments of new homes at both Arthurlie Gate and Duncarnock progress."
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, added: "We’re proud to support Include Me 2 Club through our per plot donation initiative at our two local developments in Barrhead – Arthurlie Gate and Duncarnock. It’s a meaningful way to connect our new developments with the existing community and ensure we’re contributing to a local charity that’s working tirelessly to support young people across the local area. We look forward to continuing this partnership as more homes are completed."

Continuing our support from Duncarnock, Include Me 2 Club has now been announced as our charity partnership for Arthurlie Gate.
Representatives from the Include Me 2 Club - Paul McIlvenny and Fabio Ramaglioni - recently helped us launching our new development by cutting the ribbon at our launch event!
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “We don’t just build new homes; we support the communities where we build, each new home sold at Arthurlie Gate raises funds for the Include Me 2 Club who are our local charity partner who receives £25 per new home completed at the development. We are delighted that Paul and Fabio came along to officially launch the development for sale and cut the ribbon of our impressive show home. “In time, along with contributions from our neighbouring Duncarnock development, this incredible local charity will receive £6,600 in donations from us."
Commenting on the support that it receives from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, Paul McIlvenny, co-founder of the Include Me 2 Club, said: “We are extremely grateful for the ongoing support that we receive from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, and we can’t thank them enough for their generous donations. It was a real pleasure for Fabio and I to officially open the new Arthurlie Gate show home and we made ourselves quite a home. “The money we receive for the donations from the nearby Duncarnock development, as well as the new Arthurlie Gate development is put to work to help us deliver our range of projects to the local community in Barrhead. On behalf of everyone who uses our service in Barrhead, I would like to say a huge thank you.”

Welcome to Springhil Gardens
We recently challenged Primary 5 pupils of St Mark’s Primary School to design a flag to welcome customers and visitors to our Springhill Gardens development in Barrhead.
The winning flag design has been produced into a flag that now proudly flies at the entrance to the development, providing a warm and colourful welcome to everyone visiting Springhill Gardens. The winner took home a £50 book voucher and recently visited the development to see the flag in situ.

The standard of the entries was so high that five additional entries were chosen to be part of the development's additional signage, welcoming visitors. These junior designers have each received a £15 book voucher.

Caroline Collins, Principle Teacher at St Mark’s Primary, said: “Taking part in Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s competition to design a flag for their Springhill Gardens housing development was an exciting opportunity for our Primary 5 classes to be involved in.
“The children enjoyed tackling their brief to create a bold and colourful design, and I understand the judges found it hard to choose a winner due to the high standard of entries. The flag looks great, and the banner is so colourful too. Together they showcase the hard work and artistic talent of our children and create a lovely connection between our school and the local Taylor Wimpey development.”
Audrey Ross, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, adds: “We are delighted with the winning flag design and indeed the other designs that we chose to create a warm welcome to our Springhill Gardens development. We recognise the importance of making sure that we support the communities in which we build our new homes. It has been our pleasure to work with St Mark’s Primary on this project, and to strengthen and extend our links once again within the local community of Barrhead.”
