Learn more about our proposals for an exciting new community at the land off Northcote Hill, Honiton.
We have submitted a planning application to East Devon District Council for up to 299 new homes on land at Northcote Hill, Honiton.
We undertook a public consultation on our proposed development on 23rd September 2025. You can view the consultation boards here.
Taylor Wimpey has developed an illustrative masterplan for the site. This plan shows how homes could be sensitively accommodated alongside extensive green spaces, new habitats for wildlife, and improved walking and cycling connections into Honiton. The scheme will also include a new neighbourhood mobility hub to support sustainable travel options.
Our proposals are at the outline stage, but are likely to include a mix of one, two, three, four and five-bedroom properties, with 30% affordable housing to help meet local need. These new homes will cater for a wide range of buyers – from first-time buyers and young couples to growing families and downsizers.
If approved, our plans will deliver a high-quality and sustainable development that provides much-needed new homes for Honiton.
