Pride in the Job award winner
James Canning (pictured left) a multi award winning Site Manager, has been recognised by the National House-Building Council (NHBC) with their prestigious Pride in the Job Quality Award for his outstanding work at Hawthorn Gardens in South Queensferry.
The award recognises James's dedication to building high-quality homes and gives homebuyers at Hawthorn Gardens the added assurance that we build top-quality homes and provide excellent customer service.
James, along with each award winner will progress to the Scottish regional awards final later this year to determine who is the best of the best in Scotland.
Each site manager is assessed across six key areas: consistency, attention to detail, leadership, interpretation of drawings and specifications, technical expertise, and health and safety. Thousands of site inspections, meticulous scoring, and verifications have taken place to decide the winning site managers. Each of these Quality Award winners will now go on to compete for Seal of Excellence and Regional Awards in the autumn, with the national Supreme Award winners unveiled in January 2025.
