This is how much Taylor Wimpey has contributed last yearA new chapter begins for Kimberley and her family
Kimberley and her family recently made their move to Seton Rise, Winchburgh, after realising they needed more space for their growing daughters. Drawn to the development by the promise of a fresh start and modern living, they found the perfect home with the help of the our friendly Sales Executive, Isla, who guided them through different house styles and incentives until they found their ideal fit.The family took advantage of the Easymover scheme, which made selling their previous home straightforward and took much of the stress out of the process. With the support of both the sales and site teams, Kimberley and her family settled in quickly, making the kitchen the heart of their new home and enjoying the extra space for family life.
Even though the development is still under construction, Kimberley and her family have already found a welcoming community and friendly neighbours. Their experience has been so positive that they wanted to share it—watch the video to hear Kimberly talk through their journey and what made their move to Seton Rise so special.
The team at Taylor Wimpey has been really helpful throughout our journey with them—from Isla guiding us from day one and supporting us throughout the process, to Robbie giving us a proper walkthrough and demonstration of how to use everything in the house, and Ryan, the site manager, regularly checking in to make sure we’re settled
Taylor Wimpey East Scotland volunteers plant 550 trees in Winchburgh
The homebuilder's latest support to the local community marks its ongoing commitment to Winchburgh, its regular support of the Winchburgh Community Growing Group and its garden at the heart of the village. With homeowners now settled into the completed development of new homes at Auldcathie View, overlooking Auldcathie District Park, and the first homeowners moving into its nearby Seton Rise development in the village, volunteering in this way is an excellent way for Taylor Wimpey staff to show their commitment to the area.
“We do more than just build high-quality homes. Working with local community groups and organisations surrounding our developments means a lot to us, and it’s great to know that we are helping to make a difference right here in Winchburgh, just a stone’s throw from our completed Auldcathie View development and within just a short walk of our current Seton Rise development. “Following a briefing and guidance from John at the Winchburgh Community Growing Group, our team of eight has worked hard during our morning to plant our target of 550 trees. We hope they will become established to add to the overall tranquillity and enjoyment of Auldcathie District Park and positively impact the local environment. It’s great for us individually to give back to the communities where we build, and while it’s been hard work – we’ve all enjoyed the challenge.”

We give another boost to Winchburgh Community Growing Group
Community Garden Week (1-7 April) shines a light on the amazing range of community and school gardens across the country, and to celebrate this year earlier this month we donated £500 to Winchburgh Community Growing Group.
This latest donation marks our ongoing commitment to Winchburgh as the final few homeowners move in and complete our development of new homes at Auldcathie View overlooking Auldcathie District Park, while the first new homes are also released for sale at our Seton Rise development in the village.
