Bordon Project Manager awarded for house building excellence

Ivor Richards, Project Manager at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, has been awarded a National House-Building Council (NHBC) Pride in the Job Seal of Excellence award.

Dukes Quarter

NHBC award win

Ivor received his award for his work at the Dukes Quarter development in Bordon and has previously been recognised by the NHBC four times.

The Seal of Excellence is one of the top honours handed out by the NHBC each year. They recognise and reward a site manager’s dedication to achieving the highest standards in house building, as well as their commitment to building homes of outstanding quality.

Ivor said: “It’s a fantastic honour to have won a Pride in the Job and a Seal of Excellence Award, not just for me, but for the whole team. The award is a testament to all the hard work that everyone at Dukes Quarter in Bordon has put into helping us produce such high-quality homes for those living at this development.

“A commitment to excellence is at the heart of everything that we do at Taylor Wimpey. I have always been quality-driven and take great pride in ensuring that the homes we build are completed to the highest possible standards.”

A fantastic achievement

Leon McGinty, Production Director at Taylor Wimpey South Thames, said: “We’re so proud that Ivor Richards has been recognised by the NHBC for a Seal of Excellence award. Ivor has led his team at Dukes Quarter from the front, developing his team and showing how a calm and measured approach is the way to work.

“It really is a fantastic achievement to win a Pride in the Job award and then to build on that with a Seal of Excellence is superb. Well done to Ivor and his team.”
