Happy customers move closer to family in East Kilbride

With family members living locally, Mr and Mrs Singh recently discovered their ideal home in a spacious four bedroom detached Maxwell home at Benthall Farm in East Kilbride.

From arranging to visit another development’s show home to regular progress updates, Mr Singh comments on how amazing his experience has been with the team at Benthall Farm in East Kilbride.

Mr Singh explained: 

“The sales team at Taylor Wimpey was fantastic from day one and they were so helpful throughout my whole buying process.  In fact, everyone from the construction site to sales and the customer service team, have been prepared to go above and beyond to make everything just so hassle-free and smooth. Everyone has made the whole process so easy."

Mr Singh went on to explain how positive an experience his journey had been: “My wife and I were looking to move home to be closer to family members, but we were struggling to find the home we wanted within our budget.  It seemed that we always lost out on the offers over bids on second-hand properties that we tried to buy.  That got me to thinking about new-build because it just takes away that uncertainty of offers over.  New-build homes are a fixed price so you know up-front the cost of the property and you can work out what you can afford against your budget."

“Our sales executives Ann, Nicola and Amber kept us in the loop of how everything was progressing, and we even had a site visit with the site manager Ross so we could feel comfortable with the progress they were making on the construction of our home.  To be honest, I was expecting a delay because I know there are material and supply issues.  But to their absolute credit, the team met their deadline and we moved in on 17 December 2021 as planned.  Since we’ve moved in, the team has just continued to look after us, including Louis who is a house finisher who picks up minor snags and our customer relations manager David has also been brilliant."

“We just love it here.  My daughter goes for a walk every day to see the local sheep; my family is nearby; we have everything we need locally within just a few minutes and our four bedroom home has lots of space for us all.  We’ve definitely found our forever home – it ticks all the boxes, and our neighbours are just lovely too.”
