A couple looking to relocate to Barrow, Clitheroe to be nearer family are set to move into their dream home thanks to help from Taylor Wimpey North West.

Paul and Julie Hartley are due to move to Taylor Wimpey’s Clover Meadows development in Barrow this spring after using the Easymover scheme to sell their old home.

The Easymover scheme sees Taylor Wimpey facilitate the sale of a buyer’s old house, allowing them to reserve a plot at a new development even before a sale is agreed on their current home.

Julie Hartley said: “We have family in Barrow and in the first lockdown in spring 2020 we started talking about Paul and I potentially moving to Barrow to be nearer to them. We viewed Clover Meadows and quickly fell in love with the development, so it was a great relief to find that Taylor Wimpey could manage our house sale for us and that we could reserve a plot here.

“From having initial conversations in the first lockdown, we had viewed Clover Meadows, reserved a plot and sold our old home before the second lockdown began. And, because Taylor Wimpey managed the whole process, it was completely stress-free — quite something considering that we were moving during a global pandemic! They did absolutely everything they could to make the process run smoothly.”

The couple bought a three-bedroomed detached home after making use of Taylor Wimpey’s virtual sales tools, which help ensure that buyers are well-informed at every stage via a personalised online dashboard.

Stuart Craig, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey North West, said: “It’s always wonderful to hear that someone has found their dream home with us and the Clover Meadows development is certainly a huge hit with prospective homeowners.

“The Easymover scheme can take the pain out of moving and I’m thrilled that Paul and Julie had such a great experience. We can’t wait to welcome them to their new community in the spring.”

Situated between woodland and an existing community, Clover Meadows offers a collection of three- and four-bedroom homes to suit buyers at every stage of the property ladder. The development has received a lot of interest since launching in 2020 thanks to its surrounding landscapes and sought-after rural location.

Newly launched, the development’s Lydford and Gosford show homes are now available for socially-distanced viewings which house hunters must pre-book.No text in field]
