Pupils at Ladygrove Primary School in Telford are over the moon after receiving a £500 donation from our North Midlands team. We provided the school with national book vouchers which will be used to buy new books to upgrade its library.
The purchase of new books will help the school in its aim to encourage its pupils to read more. Selina Mahy, School Business Manager SLE at Ladygrove Primary School, said: “Reading is such an important life skill and something that we want to make fun and engaging. This donation will allow us to purchase a new selection of books for our pupils to get stuck into and we hope this will also help to maintain the children’s enthusiasm for reading.
“We would like to say a massive thank you to Taylor Wimpey from everyone at the school for their generous donation. We can’t wait to add to our library and share stories with each other.”
