We celebrate family fun day at Glenvale Park

Residents have enjoyed a day of activities and getting to know one another at our Glenvale Park development in Wellingborough

TWEM - Glenvale Park Family Fun Day

Glenvale Park community comes together for family fun day

Organised by the Glenvale Park consortium, the event was a showcase for local restaurants, musicians and community groups following the Covid-19 pandemic. Visitors were able to sample local food and drinks, listen to local musical acts, and meet the developers building new homes at Glenvale Park.

Our Sales Executives were joined by Taylor Wimpey’s mascot, Handy Andy, who had a great time meeting all the visitors. Attendees were also able to learn more about Glenvale Park and it’s sustainability plans. For instance, 10,000 trees have been planted or saved across the development site, with over 200 acres of parkland being developed for public use.

The day was also marked by a time capsule burial by Cllr Lora Lawman, Mayor of Wellingborough Town Council, and Wellingborough Civic Society. Other community groups in attendance included Wellingborough ASC, Wellingborough RFC, Hatton Academies Trust and Gleneagles Church.
