We donate to Bowerhill Scout group

We have made a cash donation towards a new minibus for the 1st Bowerhill Scout Group

Supporting our communities

Located close to our Pathfinder Place development, 1st Bowerhill Scout Group has been fundraising for new transport to allow the group to take more frequent trips. 

Within the Scout group, 1st Bowerhill has Beavers, Cubs, Scout and Explorer groups, catering for children from age 6 to 18, with all groups benefiting from the new bus.

The group uses the local village hall facilities and does not have their own dedicated space, making it particularly important that trips can be taken, both locally and nationally.

Tim Just, Section Leader at 1st Bowerhill said: “Our focus is very much on the wellbeing of the children. Lockdown has affected different age groups differently, and we’ve found that getting them out and about has had a positive impact. 

“We are really grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their donation, it will go a long way in helping us secure a new minibus for our group.”
