First time buyers excited to customise their new home in Lancaster Square

First time buyers Michael Hepher and Jamie Mainds are looking forward to customising their new home after buying a one-bedroom apartment at the Lancaster Square development in South Ruislip

Michael and Jamie are making the move to South Ruislip from Tolworth in Surrey where they previously rented a maisonette. 

The pair chose to purchase a Hawker House apartment which offers a private, first-floor balcony, fully-integrated kitchen, a sociable living space, ample storage and allocated parking. 

Speaking on their choice, Michael said: “We chose to reserve plot 25 at Lancaster square which is a one bedroom flat. It's south east facing with a lovely sunny balcony and bedroom, overlooking the green space in the centre of the complex. The flat feels safe, it’s in a gated community and its convenient location close to transport links is perfect for both our current lifestyles.

“We chose a new-build for the customisation aspect of the apartment,” Michael said. “Getting to choose exactly how we wanted the final touches and knowing the apartment is completely un-lived in prior to us moving in.”

Another attractive feature of Lancaster Square was the sense of security that the development offers, as Michael explains: “The fact that the complex is a gated community tucked away from the main road along with the apartment being south east facing. The large windows across the entire front out to the balcony sold the apartment to us”

It can be difficult to navigate choosing your first home as first time buyers, however, Michael and Jamie have said that their experience with Taylor Wimpey has been “outstanding”. Michael added: “Our experience with Taylor Wimpey has been outstanding. The team at Lancaster square has been great and can’t do enough for us. They’re in constant contact to ensure things are going smoothly and are making the buying process extremely easy for first time buyers.”
