We go back to school in Inverkeithing
As part of our commitment to future-proofing our workforce, and to mark the rollout of our new secondary school resources, members of our Young Persons’ Forum returned to school last month with a visit to Inverkeithing High School to take part in its focus on career opportunities as part of Scottish Careers Week (7-11 November 2022).
With the first secondary school visit under their belt, the YPF team is looking forward to continuing to push out the opportunity for schools to engage with our regional team using the new school resources.
Ellen Clark, Assistant Land Manager at Taylor Wimpey East Scotland said: “We enjoyed having the opportunity to be part of Inverkeithing High School’s focus on Scottish Careers Week. We hope that our sessions have helped students to understand more about the career options that are available in the housebuilding industry, and how they could play a future role within it. Futureproofing and attracting fresh talent into the wide range of roles that our industry offers has never been as important as it is now, and we hope that we have inspired some of the young people that we’ve met to find out more about how they can be part of creating great communities where people want to live.”
