Our East Midlands has helped Market Harborough residents get into the festive spirit with a donation towards the town’s annual Christmas Fayre

Mrs Claus comes to town

We donated £800 in support of the Christmas Fayre which was used to set up a Santa’s Grotto for the children to enjoy. Visitors to the grotto each received a small gift and had the chance to meet Mrs Claus and her helpful elves. The Fayre also had other activities for guests to enjoy including a fun fair, Santa’s reindeer enclosure, carol singing and a snow machine.

Commenting on the support the fayre has received from Taylor Wimpey, Juliette Maher, Director of Harborough Fayres C.I C, said: “Our Christmas Fayre is a fantastic event and we look forward to welcoming friends and family from the community every year. It really helps to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Donations such as this from Taylor Wimpey ensured we were able to include our main attraction, the Santa’s Grotto, which was enjoyed by all and for that we are extremely grateful.”

Olivia Peters, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Midlands, said: “We were delighted to support the Market Harborough Christmas Fayre and hope that everyone enjoyed Santa’s Grotto. The organisers did a great job of bringing the community together.”
