Christmas arrives in Stowmarket
We donated £500 to the organisers of the annual Fayre thus enabling them to host a bigger and better event for the town.
Located in the heart of Stowmarket town centre, the Christmas Fayre was host to unique market stalls with a broad mix of gifts and treats, as well as food and drink from local and regional traders.
With the addition of Santa’s grotto at the Food Museum, and a line-up of festive music at the John Peel Centre, Stowmarket Christmas Fayre was a great way to start the festive season.
Karl Daniels, Communities and Partnerships Manager at Stowmarket Town Council, said: “Our annual Christmas Fayre is a fantastic event for the local community and it is something we look forward to organising every year. We have only recently introduced sponsorship at our events, and this generous donation from Taylor Wimpey means we were able to host an even bigger and better event than normal.”
Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “We are delighted to sponsor the Stowmarket Christmas Fayre. The organisers do such a great job bringing the festive spirit to the local community, and we hope all the visitors enjoyed their time at such a wonderful event.”
