Family fall back in love with Olney at Yardley Manor

A family who recently made the move to Taylor Wimpey’s Yardley Manor development in Olney couldn’t be happier with their decision to return to the area

Naomi and Joe Prestedge moved to Yardley Manor with their young family after deciding that they ultimately wanted to be closer to family, friends and the amenities that the area has to offer. 

Naomi said: “We’ve been really happy since we’ve moved into Yardley Manor, the best thing for us is that it’s moved us back into Olney which is where we wanted to be. We wanted to be closer to my family and closer to the children’s school and closer to our friends and all of the amenities here.

A surprising turn of fate meant that the pair may have, at one point, been exchanging on their wedding day. However, with the help of the team at Yardley Manor, they were able to avoid that and enjoy their special day together. 

“We got married, we moved into a lovely new home, it was just the best month ever! Just before our wedding was when we were due to be exchanging. At one point, we thought we may even have exchanged on our wedding day but Elaine [Sales Executive], the lady in the office, was really good, really really helpful.

“The whole process really was pretty seamless. We felt supported and cared for within the whole process of buying the house and after buying the house as well. The aftercare service that Laura [Customer Relations Manager] has provided us with has been absolutely fantastic."

Naomi and Joe purchased The Rossdale, a detached, four-bedroom, three-bathroom house ideal for people who want the kitchen to be the beating heart of their home.

“We’re safe in the knowledge that if anything happens, or we need anything doing, it’s going to get sorted out and it’s going to get sorted out quickly, which is a massive benefit. It’s things like that, it’s great isn’t it, you don’t have to worry about it.”
