Making sustainability fun
As part of their aim to encourage sustainability in and around the community, Taylor Wimpey East Anglia made a donation of bird boxes and bug hotels to the school and challenged them to make them as colourful and welcoming as possible.
The children got to work using paints and colouring pencils to transform the plain wooden boxes into brightly coloured homes for birds and insects. The bird box designed by Raph and Matilda was picked as Taylor Wimpey’s favourite and both pupils received a bug hotel as a prize.
