We proudly supported Armed Forces Day in Gillingham

Our South East team supported Medway Council’s 13th Armed Forces Day celebrations, which took place on Saturday June 25th

Supporting local communities

This year’s event, which took place at The Great Lines Heritage Park, Gillingham, recognised the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands. 

Thousands of visitors attended to celebrate the Armed Forces community and there was fun for the whole family with a parade, fun fair, bandstand concerts, and a performance from the Princes’ of Wales Royal Regiment.
 

Cllr Howard Doe, said: “We are very proud of Medway’s rich military history and connections with our armed forces, and we celebrate this day to show our support for the Armed Forces.”

Jason Stokes, Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “We are proud to have supported this event and joining the community in celebrating the work of serving men and women and honouring that of veterans. We hope everyone had a great time.”
