Reaching new highs to support the Youth Adventure Trust

Our 2022 Taylor Wimpey Challenge raised over £165,000 which will help vulnerable young people supported by the charity.

Going the extra mile

Now in its eighth year, our Taylor Wimpey challenge took place on the 20th and 21st May 2022 and saw 54 teams of employees coming together to raise money for the Youth Adventure Trust.

Each of the teams were required to build a fully functioning raft which they then sailed around Lake Coniston, before hiking between 13 and 26 miles through the famous hills of the Lake District, battling a variety of testing terrains.

This year the challenge raised an impressive £166,091 in total, with each team tasked with reaching a target of £2,000. The experience tested our endurance, but most importantly offered a chance to come together as a team. We can’t wait for next year’s event and the opportunity to continue to support this fantastic charity.
