We are proud to support Aldershot’s Armed Forces Day

Our West London team supported Rushmoor Borough Council’s first ever Armed Forces Day Prom in the Park, which took place on Saturday June 25th

Supporting local communities

The event, which was held in Princes Gardens, was an opportunity for the people of Aldershot and Farnborough to celebrate the Armed Forces community. Visitors enjoyed a concert, a BBQ, tea tent, market stalls and free children’s activities.

 
Rushmoor Borough Council’s Cabinet Champion for the Military, Councillor Nem Thapa, said: “This is the first time we have run this event and it’s free – it was an amazing afternoon for the whole family. We’d like to thank our sponsors and The Garrison for helping us to put on this event.”

Gemma Bibby, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey West London, said: “We are delighted to be supporting such a significant event which celebrates the history and culture of Aldershot. The town is steeped in military history and it is an honour to be sponsoring an event which champions the work that the Armed Forces community does, both domestically and abroad.”
