We bring ice cream magic to Sudbury school’s Jubilee party
We gave Sudbury pupils a special treat by sending an ice cream van to their Jubilee picnic.
St Gregory CEVC Primary School held the event for all 200-plus pupils on Thursday 26th May 2022, with games, decorations and music.
We offered to buy an ice cream for every child to help make it an extra special day, and the children were absolutely thrilled when headteacher Daniel Woodrow used his ‘magic powers’ to summon the ice cream van onto the school field.
Daniel said: “The ice cream van has been a huge hit and we are incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey for organising it.
“We were having a great party, with the children enjoying the games and music and getting into the Jubilee spirit. When I gathered them together and used my ‘headteacher magic’ to summon the ice cream van their reaction was priceless. It absolutely made our day.”
