We support Brentry & Henbury Children’s Centre

Our Bristol division and Bellway South West, who are working on plans for the new Berwick Green development near Cribbs Causeway, have contributed £1,000 towards a fund to fix up the centre’s outdoor areas.

The centre’s gardens allow children to play and learn outside, and plans for the new area include balance beams, weatherproofed play hills, and new grass areas. The children’s centre also runs a forest school for many deprived and vulnerable children in the community, which the new facilities will support.

Kerri Matthews, Interim Director of Brentry & Henbury Children’s Centre said: “We’re really grateful to Taylor Wimpey and Bellway for their kind donation. Their money will go a long way in helping us create an exciting new play area for everyone using our family support services and nursery.”

Rob Curry, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “We are delighted to be able to make this contribution towards works to refurbish the play gardens at Brentry & Henbury Children’s Centre.

“We are always looking for ways we can support the communities surrounding our developments, and we hope that the children and families enjoy using the new space once it’s completed.”

Tim Lund, Sales Director for Bellway South West, said: "Brentry & Henbury Children's Centre plays such an important role for vulnerable youngsters in the area and updating the facilities they currently have is crucial to continue their good work.

"Our joint-donation will help provide a new play area for people using the centre and it is great to be able to support another worthy cause within the Bristol area."
