We donate towards school’s much-needed maintenance works

Taylor Wimpey Bristol has donated £1,000 towards maintenance work at Emerson Green Primary school as part of our commitment to helping local schools and community groups

We support local communities

The donation will allow for essential maintenance works to be carried out at the school. 

The maintenance works include repairs to the playground, forest skills area and general upkeep of the school’s outside space that is in need of TLC and repair.

Other maintenance works include repairs to the roof, ensuring it is watertight, and to the school’s guttering systems.

Karl Hemmings, Headteacher at Emerson Green Primary School, said: “We as a school have been struggling to fund the necessary repairs our buildings need, so this donation will go a long way towards that. We are extremely grateful to Taylor Wimpey for their kind donation.”

Rob Curry, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey Bristol, said: “We are really pleased to be able to contribute towards repair works at Emerson Green Primary School. 

“We are always looking at ways we can help the communities surrounding our developments, so we are hopeful that our contribution will help provide a better learning environment for all of the children at Emerson Green.”
