We award local youth charity with £1,000 prize

The Mix has been awarded £1,000 from our East Anglia team, after being announced as the winner of their Community Chest competition for the Suffolk area

Local youth group wins top prize

Residents from across Suffolk were invited to nominate local good causes. Once all of the entries were considered, Taylor Wimpey awarded The Mix with the top prize. 

Malcolm Goodwin, Chief Executive Officer at The Mix, said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this generous prize from Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, especially as it results from nominations from Suffolk people. At The Mix, we support young people, their families and the local communities in Suffolk and this kind support will have a direct impact on young people’s lives and opportunities.”

Caroline Carter, Sales and Marketing Director at Taylor Wimpey East Anglia, said: “At Taylor Wimpey we are proud to support local causes such as The Mix who do such valuable work supporting young people in the community. We hope that our donation will help them to continue with their vision to equip young people with the skills and tools to grow as leaders.
