The Festival of the Girl is a not-for-profit initiative created to inspire and engage girls aged 7-11. The annual event took place on Sunday 9th October at the Business Design Centre in Islington, North London.
Our team hosted a ‘design your own dream home model’ workshop with a panel of expert female builders at the event, giving girls access to an incredible opportunity of learning and experiencing the joy of building.
Laura Mulvaney, one of the founders said,” The Festival exists because we want to change what it means to be a girl. I want all girls to be aware of and understand all the opportunities available to them. Ultimately with this knowledge they will be able to shape their best future.”
