We support food banks in Kent and Medway

Based in Ashford, the Family Food Bank was set up in 2012 to help people affected by the closure of Thamesteel Mill in Sheerness. The charity has since expanded and, working in partnership with FareShare Kent, now provides support to people in all districts across Kent & Medway.

Ian Townsend-Blazier, Business Development Manager at the Family Food Bank and FareShare Kent, said: “We are very thankful to Taylor Wimpey for their ongoing support to FareShare Kent and the Family Food Bank. We are currently seeing record numbers of people accessing our food services across Kent & Medway. The donation provided by Taylor Wimpey will enable us to provide an additional 2,000 meals, reaching the most vulnerable members of society.”
