We help bring carnival atmosphere to Great Bentley green

The Great Bentley Carnival and Fete takes place every June and is organised by a team of hard working volunteers with the aim of bringing the community together and raising money for local youth groups.

We recently launched a new development in the village, Hartford Green, and offered to pay for the marquees and tables of the refreshments tent at this year’s event which took place on 24th June and raised a total of £3,126.

Julie Wall, Chairperson of the Great Bentley Carnival and Fete Association, said: “We’d like to say a big thank you to Taylor Wimpey for their generous donation. We split any profits from our annual event between our beneficiaries, who are local children’s groups, and in the current financial climate any extra income is much appreciated. Without these generous donations from local companies the amount of profit from our annual event would be reduced.”
