A much welcomed boost

Devonview Family Learning Centre caters for families and children from birth to five years within the local community.

Commenting on the support that it has received from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, Lynn Sloan, Deputy Head Teacher at Devonview Family Centre said: “On behalf of the children and families who come to Devonview Family Centre, we would like to thank Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s staff and charities committee for their generous donation of £500. This is a much-welcomed boost that will contribute towards delivering improvements that we would like to make to an outdoor space that is used regularly for children’s projects and a range of family social activities.”

Lynsey Cooper, a representative from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s charity committee adds: “Supporting local schools is important to us and we are delighted to be able to support Devonview Family Centre and the plans the team has to improve an outdoor space.

“Being able to show our support locally within the communities where we build new homes means a great deal to us. We are very proud that our donation will make a difference to the children and families who are part of the Devonview Family Centre community in Airdrie."
