Supporting our communities

This donation is part of a joint initiative with the British Heart Foundation (BHF), whereby we are donating potentially life-saving PAD’s to local communities around the UK to assist people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests.

The British Heart Foundation has worked with us since 2019 to train our employees in CPR skills and provide all building developments across the UK with a defibrillator. As part of the commitment to supporting local communities, we are donating the defibrillators to nearby locations when their developments are completed.

With the recent completion of the Grosvenor Park development in Attleborough, we donated the PAD to Rosecroft Primary School so it is accessible to the local area.

Susie Willingham, School Business Manager at The Attleborough and Rosecroft Primary Federation, said:

“We can’t thank Taylor Wimpey and the BHF enough for this kind donation. Even though we hope we don’t have to use it often, it is reassuring to know that we can access a defibrillator in the event of an emergency and hopefully save somebody’s life.”
