Educating the future generation

Members of our team in South Wales visited Newton Primary School to speak to Year 3 pupils about how the homes and communities in their local area are built sustainably.

In early November, Emma Lewis, Marketing Executive for our South Wales team, and Olly Martin, Graduate Trainee, visited the school to speak to pupils about the importance of building homes and communities sustainably, giving insights into what it is like to work for us.

Newton Primary Visit

As part of the visit, our team delivered Taylor Wimpey school engagement packs for the pupils containing a variety of fun and educational activities created by the graduate team at Taylor Wimpey.

Maryse Narbeth, Teacher at Newton Primary School, said: “This was a really great opportunity for our students to learn more about the world outside of school, and to learn more about how our homes are built. Our students were really engaged and inspired by the team from Taylor Wimpey, and with the donation of the engagement packs it has meant that the children continue to fuel their knowledge on different industries.”
