A team of apprentices, along with Neil Blight, Apprentice Manager and Chris Marsh owner of Chris Marsh Construction Limited, gave pupils in years 9, 10 and 11 an insight into working in the construction industry. Pupils were able to get stuck into basic bricklaying, carpentry and learn about our career options.

Lauren Stone, Careers Leader at Bradley Stoke Community Schools said: “We can’t thank Taylor Wimpey enough for the amazing session. They gave an in-depth account of various specialisms and encouraged students to think about the opportunities that are available.”

Neil Blight, Apprentice Manager at Taylor Wimpey Bristol said: “I’m delighted to hear that the students enjoyed our visit as much as the team did. There are so many career pathways in construction and it was brilliant to have the opportunity to talk to pupils about the options available to them.”
